Look at who just got a sexy update – Microsoft recently added Google Talk right into its Outlook and SkyDrive services, allowing you to communicate with your Google contacts without having to leave your mail, ever. One of the many reasons why I’m a loyal Gmail user is the integrated Gtalk that handles all my chats in a single window so this is definitely a plus for Microsoft.
Available immediately on both Outlook.com and SkyDrive.com, all you need to do is grant the products access to your Google account and you can start messaging straight away. I must admit, I love Microsoft’s layout and design way better than what Gmail has done.
With this update, it means you can now chat with your Google contacts, Skype friends as well as Facebook contacts within these two Microsoft products.
