First revealed to the world in February and spotted in SIRIM’s database recently, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is finally available in Malaysia. That being said, the release of the 8-inch tablet is done rather quietly though as we believe that not all Samsung Stores are carrying the device at the time being.
This due to the fact that it was not available at Samsung Store in Mid Valley Megamall when we visited the store earlier today but yet there it is (as shown above) at another branch that is located at The Gardens. Priced at RM 1699 (identical to Senheng’s RRP), also available at the outlet are two types of covers – universal stand pouch and Note 8.0 book cover – which are priced at RM 179 and RM 219 respectively.
Just to be sure, we have also confirmed with the branch’s staff member that Malaysian unit does come with telephony capability. Not that we recommended doing it without using headset though. Anyway, head on to Samsung Mobile Malaysia’s website to learn more about the device.
