NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost

Offering up to 40-percent more performance than the original GPU that was released last year, Nvidia has just unleashed the new Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost into the market. While the new Kepler-based GPU might been equipped with the same amount of CUDA cores – 768 of them in total – as the original GTX 650 Ti, the extra firepower contained within the new GPU is delivered through higher clock speed and wider memory interface.

As an example, the base clock speed for GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost is rated at 980 MHz while the original GPU runs at 928MHz. Furthermore, the new GPU is equipped with the GPU Boost feature (which was not available on the original GTX 650 Ti) that enables its clock speed to run even faster at up to 1033MHz. The new GeForce GTX 650 Ti also supports two-way SLi.

In addition to its 192-bit memory interface, the GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost’s memory clock speed is also slightly higher than the original GTX 650 Ti at 6.0Gbps. Users have the option to choose either 1GB or 2GB of GDDR5 RAM to go together with the GPU.

The 2GB version of Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti is readily available in the market right now for around RM 524 (USD 169) while the 1GB edition will be made available slightly later in early April for RM 462 (USD 149). For more information, head on to the GPU’s official page over at Nvidia’s official website.
