The iPad mini with Retina Display is now available in Malaysia via the Apple Online Store. The highly-awaited tablet is now available from RM1279. The release of the smaller iPad comes just 24 hours after the new iPad Air was made available in Malaysia via various outlets.
Announced back in October, the new iPad mini with Retina Display pushes the smaller iPad firmly to flagship status, featuring the latest A7 64-bit processor and, more importantly, fitting a Retina Display onto the 7.9-inch display – a feature many had been clamouring for.
Currently, the new iPad mini with Retina Display is only available at the Apple Online Store, with the pricing as follows:
WiFi Only:
- 16GB: RM1279
- 32GB: RM1599
- 64GB: RM1929
- 128GB: RM2249
WiFi + LTE:
- 16GB: RM1699
- 32GB: RM2029
- 64GB: RM2349
- 128GB: RM2679
Apple is promising delivery times between 5-7 business days for the iPad Mini Retina. At the time of writing, none of the major telcos have announced any plans for the iPad mini with Retina Display yet, although Maxis have released a teaser for the tablet with a “Coming Soon” tag.
