It’s finally here. Three months after the initial confirmation by ASUS Malaysia and five months after it was first revealed at Computex 2013, the new ASUS Transformer Trio will be made available in Malaysia by end of this week.
Just to jog your memory, the Transformer Trio is basically a 3-in-1 machine whereby users are able to detach Trio’s 11.6-inch full HD display and used it as an Intel Atom-based Android tablet while the base can be used as a fully functional Intel Core-based Windows PC independently from the display. When combined together, Transformer Trio becomes a dual-OS laptop since it allows users to switch between Android and Windows 8.

In Malaysia, the Transformer Trio will come in two choices of processor: 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-4200U at RM 3799 and 1.8GHz Intel Core i7-4500U at RM 4099. Both variants will also be equipped with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 which provides the processing power for the tablet portion of Transformer Trio.
