While many feel that PlayStation 4’s price tag is rather higher than expected, the reaction in terms of sales seems to be more positive. Apparently, it only took Sony Malaysia two days to completely sell off its pre-order allocation for the PlayStation 4 PS Camera bundle at Sony Online Store as well as both of their physical stores in Suria KLCC and The Curve.
Among them, Sony Malaysia Online Store was the first to go out of stock according to the status on Sony Malaysia’s Facebook page on the evening of 15 November. It was then followed by Sony Malaysia’s physical stores the day after. The popularity of the bundle is not totally unexpected though as the PS Camera cost RM 259 when purchased separately and it is part of the requirement if one wants to to play The Playroom which is pre-installed on PS4.
The stocks for three other bundles – basic, Killzone: Shadow Fall, and Battlefield 4 – are still available through all three stores. For those who still prefer the PS4 PS Camera bundle instead, you can still pre-order it at Sony’s participating focus store as listed here.
