It is no doubt that Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smartwatch is pretty cool. As one of the first new wearable technology available in the market, the Gear smartwatch evokes childhood memories of speaking of our favourite TV shows and movies, from Star Trek, The Jetsons, Knight Rider and, for the younger ones among us, Power Rangers.

And that’s exactly what Samsung is attempting with its new Galaxy Gear ads. They’re easily two of the company’s best in its “The Next Big Thing” campaign. Featuring snippets of our favourite shows from yesteryear, they really do make you feel like getting a Gear for yourself.
Well, almost. Just maybe not to those who have been reading the reviews online.
