You know how most postpaid plans comes bundled with free calls and SMS, but most of them goes to waste because you hardly send text messages? Well, U Mobile just announced a new Ultimate Device Plans that focuses more on data. There are three different Ultimate Device Plans, starting off from as low as RM68/month – Ultimate Device 68, Ultimate Device 98 and Ultimate Device 158.
Ultimate Device Plans also comes with phone bundle options (24 months contract) for selected devices namely the HTC Butterfly, HTC One, HTC Desire 600 and Samsung Galaxy Mega.
While Ultimate Device 68 seems pretty cheap – 3GB of data for RM68, the next two plans seems a little too expensive. For comparison’s sake, DiGi’s Smart Plan 148 comes with 6GB of data and 600mins + 600SMS for only RM148/month, which is much, much cheaper. Even U Mobile’s U Plus plan is cheaper than Ultimate Device 148, offering 5GB of data, 700mins of talk time (350mins onnet + 350mins offnet) and 500SMS (250SMS onnet + 250SMS offnet) for only RM138/month though, U Plus is only available for loyal U Mobile subscribers.
Of course, at the end of the day, if you wish to purchase one of these four devices from U Mobile, you only have these new postpaid plans to pick from, so choose wisely.
