Acer Aspire Z3

Alongside the new Iconia W3, Acer Malaysia has recently also introduced the brand new Acer Aspire Z3 Series all-in-one PC into the market. Featuring a 23-inch 1920×1080 IPS 10-point touch display that has 178-degree viewing angle, it is powered by the 3rd generation Intel Core i3-3227U processor which runs at 1.9GHz and is equipped with Intel HD Graphics 4000.

Designed for home entertainment and daily computing, the Aspire Z3 also features 4GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB SATA hard drive, and a Super Multiplus DVD writer. The Aspire Z3 comes pre-installed with the PointGrab gesture control software – just like last year’s Aspire 7600U AIOz – for users to navigate the Z3 through gestures with the help of Z3’s adjustable (up to 20-degrees) 1.0-megapixel built-in webcam.

For the sake of convenience, Acer has decided to position a 3.5mm combo audio port, USB 3.0 port, SD card reader, and display on/off button right on the front area of the Aspire Z3 and also includes a cover panel to hide them if one’s chooses to do so. Next to this front I/O panel is a Harman Kardon stereo speaker that is also enhanced by Dolby Home Theater v4 technology.

The rest of Z3’s I/O panel are located on its back which includes an Ethernet, line-out, microphone-in, another USB 3.0, and HDMI-in ports as well as two USB 2.0 ports. Last but not least, the Aspire Z3 can also be tilted up to 30-degrees. Available in the market right away, the new Acer Aspire Z3 is priced at RM 2,699.
