With almost three months after its arrival in our market, the Microsoft Surface RT now costs less than its launch price tag. In a move that similar to United States, the tablet received RM 450 price reduction across all available variants.
With that, the stand-alone 32GB Surface RT now costs RM 1,099 (originally RM 1,549) while the 64GB variant is priced at RM 1,399 ( RM 1,849). As for the Touch Cover bundle, they are now listed at RM 1,399 (RM 1,849) and RM 1,699 (RM 2,149) for 32GB and 64GB respectively. On another hand, there is no price reduction for Surface Pro or any of Surface’s accessories.
Will this price reduction able to attract more Malaysian consumers to Surface RT? Well, let’s see then.
