A 2011 research paper once revealed that watching Spongebob Squarepants causes temporary problem solving skills as well as shorter attention spans among children. Samsung Iceland may have produced something with similar effects for adults with its latest ad for the flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone.
The 56-second clip, which is some way off Samsung Switzerland’s effort, reveals a man literally attempting to text on an actual apple and growing increasingly frustrated. Next, we see the same man serenely tapping away on the Samsung Galaxy S4 in an area surrounded by apples on the ground. Finally, four men attempting to dress as ninjas dance with the man. A goat even appears several times in the clip, which ends with the man chomping on an apple while holding the S4 to his ear.
