Who says you need to dedicate to an expensive monthly internet plan just to stay connected to the internet? Maxis today announced an affordable Internet data plan from as low as RM1 a day for unlimited browsing using Opera Mini browser, making Maxis the first telco in Malaysia to offer unlimited web browsing for as low as RM1 a day.
Available for both Maxis postpaid and prepaid (Hotlink) customers immediately, to activate it, all you need to do is run the Maxis / Opera Mini browser, click the “RM1/DAY” web pass icon, pick the one-day unlimited data plan, confirm the purchase and start browsing.
Do take note that the RM1/day unlimited usage is only available for all browsing done via Opera Mini browser 4.4 and above. You can still access your favorite social media such as Facebook, but just make sure you are browsing them within Opera Mini. In addition to that, Maxis customers can access Twitter Mobile for free via Maxis Freezone – just click on the “Maxis FREEZONE” icon in the homepage of the Maxis / Opera Mini browser and you’re good to go.
Opera Mini data plan is available for the Opera Mini browser 4.4, and above, on BlackBerry, J2ME, S60 and Android phones.
