Remember the Star Trek edition of the Acer Aspire R7 that was being shown during Computex 2013? As mentioned, ONE of the limited edition device (only 25 units available in the world) will be auctioned on eBay starting from 14 to 24 June 2013; all proceeds will be donated to charity.
The bid is open for a worldwide charity auction and on top of receiving the device that features a stainless steel Star Trek logo with sand-blast finish and polished surface, it will also come together with an R7 protective sleeve with Star Trek logo as well as a “Star Trek Into Darkness” film poster signed by the film cast, “Star Trek Into Darkness” content such as wallpapers and videos, Star Trek Soundtrack, a download of Star Trek: The Video Game, and unique “Star Trek Into Darkness” product packaging with a Limited Edition Certificate of Authenticity from Acer and Paramount Pictures.
The notebook is now live on www.ebay.com/theonlyone, biddings will start on 14 June 2013. All net proceeds will be donated to two charitable organizations – The Mission Continues and Save the Children.
