While the 4th generation Intel Core processors a.k.a Haswell will only receive its official launch next week at Computex in Taipei, it seems like the boxed version of the processors are already on the market. Posted on Facebook by the folks at the established retailer Compuzone, they also include these five SKUs together alongside the image above:
Intel Core i5 4570 – RM 619
Intel Core i5 4670 – RM 679
Intel Core i5 4670K – RM 729
Intel Core i7 4770 – RM 929
Intel Core i7 4770K – RM 1049
Additionally, Compuzone has also included these processors and several motherboards for Intel Haswell into their latest pricelist. The retailer further added that these processors are readily available at their branches in Plaza Low Yat and PJ’s Digital Mall.
It is unknown whether Intel have actually approve the release of these processors and a quick check on Intel’s ARK database have shown that none of them are listed there as well. This further raised our suspicion that Compuzone has just jumped the gun once again as per what happened during the Sandy Bridge-era. Nevertheless, what do you think of the pricing of these new processors?
UPDATE [1000PM]: Judging from the way Compuzone changed their Facebook page’s header with Intel Haswell boxes, there’s no doubt we can all agree here that it’s either C-Zone are proud with the fact that they jumped the gun or Intel Haswell is indeed here, for real. Well, you know who to call to get your hands on them then.
