Love the Samsung Galaxy Camera but don’t wish to commit to a new cellular line just to make use of its 3G connectivity? No problem, Samsung just announced a brand new Wi-Fi only Galaxy Camera that is basically exactly the same as the existing Galaxy Camera – 16.3MP CMOS sensor, 21x optical zoom, 4,8” display, 1.4GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 – but it will not have any cellular connectivity hence, it will be more affordable as well.
No information has been released with regards to the pricing and availability but if you’re hoping to land your hands on a Galaxy Camera, this might be worth the wait and hopefully with the lack of cellular connectivity, it means that the 1,650mAh battery on board will last longer. Additionally, from the press pictures, it looks like there is a brand new red color option for the Wi-Fi only Samsung Galaxy Camera.
