One of the bigger concerns people have with the HTC One series is that the rightmost capacitive button is pretty much useless at least in my usage of both the devices. Using it as a multitasking button is probably not as useful as the standard use as a menu button. HTC have realised that too. Across the globe, HTC One X’s and S’ will be getting a patch that will allow for users to remap the multitasking key to the more familiar context menu functionality, similar to the one that was released in the US last week. For those who do use the multitasking button, a long press of the button can still be set to the multitasking screen.No word on the ETA of the update, but we’ll be waiting earnestly.
