You’ve read the recent articles on Mat Honan’s epic hack, and you suddenly realize how vulnerable you are to cyber attacks. Like many others around the world, not many knew about Google’s two-step verification for Google Accounts (or perhaps, many more found it a hassle than anything else).
But think about it. For most of us, our Google Account links our Gmail, Android smartphone, and Chrome browser. If someone were to gain access to your Google Account password, one can only imagine just how much one stands to lose.
Fortunately, Google recognized the significance of the security of Google Accounts much earlier than us users, and made a video to help users with implementing two-step verification to our accounts.
