Sure, the iPhone is a great phone with a modest 8MP camera that can snap some decent pictures, but that’s not enough for Will.i.am from Black Eyed Pea. The celebrity recently told Telegraph that he is working on a new accessory and app for the iPhone called i.am+ that will turn the 8MP camera into a 14MP shooter.
No details have been revealed regarding how things will work, but according to a quote on Telegraph,
“We have our own sensor and a better flash. You dock your phone into our device and it turns your smartphone into a genius-phone. We take over the camera…
“I was just hanging out [after a photo shoot], and one of the models took an iPhone picture, which circulated the planet before the shoot was even over… I took one of the photographer’s lenses and held it up on my [phone] and said “imagine this one day”. Then I said: “I’m going to do this”.”
Just so you know, he’s already gotten his development license for hardware and an iPhone app from Apple and, the product will be launched in London soon, really soon. Anyone excited?
