Printing is big business, and even more so when you’re talking about large format printing. Just to give you an idea of how big it is, a signing ceremony was recently held at the DPI Technologies Sdn Bhd office, where a local company called KB Color Image Sdn Bhd was announced as the first company in Malaysia to own the brand new HP Designjet  L65500 Printer.

The decision to purchase the HP Designjet L65500 was fairly easy for us when you consider its many compelling features. With the HP Designjet L65500, we can now reduce the environmental impact of our printing and demonstrate our commitment to the environment with new eco-friendly digital printing solutions without the need to sacrifice print quality or value.  Additionally, the printer will also allow us to pursue new business opportunities with leading international corporations that require us to provide eco-friendly printing solutions.” -- Andy Koh, Managing Director, KB Colour Image

The HP Designjet L65500 Printer, is able to print up to 104 inches (2.64 meters) wide in rich saturated colors, and offers a versatile system that can produce a broad range of applications – from point-of-purchase displays, transit signage, wall murals and exhibition graphics to vehicle graphics and fleet marking, and a variety of exterior and interior event signage – on a wide range of materials, including most low-cost, uncoated, solvent-compatible media. What makes this printer even more special, is the fact that it's the first printer from HP to feature the HP Latex Printing Technology, a eco-friendly alternative to traditionally used inks.
