OPPO To Release R7 In Malaysia On 12 August: Price To Be Announced Soon

When OPPO first launches the R7 Series in Malaysia last month, the company stated that only R7 Lite and R7 Plus will make their way into our market. However, it seems that the company has a change of heart as OPPO has just announced that it will indeed release the original R7 model in Malaysia later this month.

However, the device will not be released in full capacity though as OPPO Malaysia stated that only limited unit of R7 will be made available here. 12 August 2015 has been chosen as the release day for the R7 in Malaysia but the company will only announce the price for the device on 11 August.

Of course, the price will be somewhere in between R7 Lite’s and R7 Plus price tags which is RM 1,298 and RM 1,998 respectively. For those are wondering what are the differences between the original R7, R7 Lite, and R7 Plus, here’s a nifty table:

To be frank, it is indeed a surprise decision by OPPO to bring the device into Malaysia although we have actually seen the device which was mistakenly labeled as R7 Lite during the launch event in July. Nevertheless, do have a closer look at it right here.
