Xiaomi has announced a refresh of its TV A and TV A Pro series of smart TVs for the year. Both come in 43-, 55- and 65-inch options, with the Pro range getting an additional 75-inch model. Joining the range to get launched is a 4K monitor, a few robot vacuums and a portable speaker.
In broad strokes, all models support 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 and 120Hz refresh rate. Then on the audio side of things, there’s Dolby Audio and DTS:X. The Pro range takes things further with QLED tech, 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut and DTS: Virtual X. On software, Google TV runs with the Xiaomi Home App to let the TV also serve as the hub for your smart home setup.
As mentioned, joining the range of TVs is the Xiaomi 4K Monitor A27Ui which, as the name suggests, is a 27-inch 4K screen. The IPS display gives a 178-degree viewing angle, supporting HDR10 and 95% of DCI-P3 colour coverage, While it supports HDMI and DisplayPort video output, it also has a USB-C port that does both 90W reverse charging and video and data output.
Then there’s the handful of robot vacuums, the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum H40 and S40, with the latter coming with an S40C variant. The two main models sport 10,000Pa suction, while the S40C has half of that. Likewise, the main variants sport 5,200 mAh batteries for 180 minutes of operation, with the C model having 2,400 mAh. Differentiating the H and S series though is the former having a base station for less frequent emptying of the dust bag.
Finally, Xiaomi also showed off the Sound Party portable speaker. This boasts an IP67 rating, up to 26 hours of play time, and a speaker output rated at 50W. You can also daisy chain it with another for a stereo experience.
