Last week, DJI released the Osmo Action 6 in China. Despite its early launch in the drone maker’s home market, the action camera made its Malaysian debut right on schedule.
Of course, at this point there’s nothing left to the imagination when it comes to the device. But to recap, the Osmo Action 6 sports a 1/1.1-inch CMOS sensor with a 13.5 EV dynamic range, as well as a 155° field of view.
The highlight, as detailed in multiple leaks, is the f/2.0-f/4.0 variable aperture. Furthermore, the camera can record 4K video at 60fps in 1:1 aspect ratio, or 4K video at 120fps in 16:9 aspect ratio. Meanwhile, it captures 38MP stills.
Beyond that, it packs a 1,950mAh battery, which according to the brand can last up to four hours. If it sounds familiar, that’s because it’s the same as the preceding model. Moreover, the Osmo Action 6 retains the same 1.46-inch front and 2.5-inch rear OLED displays. Rounding things off is an IP68 rating.

In Malaysia, the company is offering two combo packages for the DJI Osmo Action 6: the Standard Combo, and the Adventure Combo. The former is priced at RM2,079, and includes the camera, a 1,950mAh battery, plus some basic accessories.
Meanwhile, the Adventure Combo retails for RM2,569. This option includes additional batteries and extras like an extension rod. As per usual, the action camera is available for purchase via the brand’s Shopee and Lazada stores, as well as authorised dealers.
