Recently, Leapmotor Malaysia announced the debut of a new model for the local market. Today, the automaker confirmed that the model is indeed the B10, as many had expected. The company also revealed that bookings for the SUV will open on 17 November, suggesting that the official launch may be sooner than anticipated.

The pre-launch includes an early bird package available to the first 200 customers. This package requires a booking fee of only RM80 and offers rewards worth RM8,000, which include cash rebates, a complimentary charger, or service packages.

As reported earlier, the B10 is expected to arrive in three variants, featuring a sleek design with a full-width LED light bar, split headlights, and matching LED taillights. It also includes hidden door handles, a roof spoiler, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The SUV is offered in five shades including Starry Night Blue, Dawn Purple, Tundra Grey, Light White and Metallic Black.

Inside, the SUV is equipped with a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating infotainment display and an 8.8-inch digital driver’s cluster, both supporting OTA updates, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Other key features include ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a panoramic roof, foldable cup holders, up to 1,300 litres of boot space, and a 25-litre frunk.

In terms of performance, the Leapmotor B10 is powered by a single motor producing 160 kW and 240 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 170 km/h. Buyers can choose between two battery options: a 56.2 kWh pack offering 442 km of NEDC range, or a 67.1 kWh pack providing up to 516 km (NEDC).

For safety, the B10 comes equipped with ADAS features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assistance, and Collision Warnings. It also includes a 360° camera and rear parking sensors. Additionally, according to Leapmotor, the B10 is estimated to be priced between RM110,000 and RM120,000.
