ASUS Announces Availability Of New Tandem OLED Gaming Monitors In Malaysia

ASUS is announcing the availability of its latest Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and Strix OLED XG27AQWMG gaming monitors in Malaysia. The two displays are expected to be available on store shelves by the end of the month.

Both these 27-inch QHD gaming monitors feature the latest Tandem OLED technology, with the promise of delivering brighter visuals, larger colour volume, and a longer lifespan compared to the previous generation of WOLED gaming monitors. Additionally, both gaming monitors are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible, as well as FreeSync Premium Pro compatible.

Specs-wise, the ASUS Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W has a maximum refresh rate of 540Hz at 1440p, as well as a 720Hz refresh rate if the resolution is reduced to 720p. Regardless, of resolution, the GTG response time is rated at 0.02ms. Other specifications include a peak HDR brightness of 1,500cdm2 and VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black Compliance.

Ports-wise, the PG27AQWP-W features two HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 2.1 port, three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, and an earphone jack.

Moving on, the ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG has a refresh rate of 280Hz with a 0.03ms GTG response time, and the same VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black compliance. For connectivity, the monitor has a DisplayPort 1.4 port, two HDMI 2.1 ports, three USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, and an earphone jack. Oh, and it has a 99.5% DCI-P3 colour gamut, the same as the OLED PG27AQWP-W.

At the time of writing, no local pricing has been announced for the two ASUS Tandem OLED gaming monitors.
