ONE-NETBOOK has officially announced the new OneXFly Apex handheld gaming console, the successor to the OneXPlayer F1 Pro. The company claims, through the official Indiegogo page, that the device is the most powerful 8-inch gaming handheld in the world. The company also boasts that it is the world’s first liquid-cooled handheld with a swappable 85Wh battery.

Specs-wise, the console sports an 8-inch, 1,920 x 1,200 resolution display, with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 500 nits. The console features Hall-effect joysticks and triggers, two customisable rear buttons, and the usual D-pad and face buttons for controls.

OneXPlayer hasn’t revealed the estimated playtime for its massive battery, but it is designed to be quickly replaced with a spare sold separately. As for other details, the console also features Harman-tuned bottom-firing dual speakers, USB-C and USB-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the OneXFly Apex comes with either a Ryzen AI Max 385 or a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with different memory and storage configurations. The 385 comes in a single 32GB+1TB configuration, priced at US$1,399 (~RM5,822).

The 395, on the other hand, has three different options. Price starts at US$1,599 (~RM6,655) for 48GB+1TB, US$1,799 (~RM7,487) for 64GB+2TB, and US$2,239 (~RM9,318) for 128GB+2TB. Do note that this is pricing for the standard version of the console. Customers can further configure the console with up to 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 storage, which you can expand with a microSD card, a mini SSD, or both for a total of up to 8TB of storage.

Customers can also opt to take the standard version or the liquid-cooled option. By adding 70g to the standard’s 699g weight, the liquid-cooled version allows the chipset to run at 120W rather than 80W. The liquid-cooled version of the console starts at US$1,459 (~RM6,072) for the 32GB+1TB, US$1,659 (~RM6,904) for the 48GB+1TB, US$1,859 (~RM7,737), and US$2,299 (~RM9,568) for the 128GB+2TB.

Impressively enough, the OneXFly Apex managed to reach its goal of HK$100,000 (~RM53,541) in less than two minutes. Those interested in acquiring the console can head over to its Indiegogo page. A single purchase will include the console, the battery, power cable, and power adapter. Customers can also avail additional peripherals such as a battery dock, a 512GB or 1TB Mini SSD, a dedicated battery-to-device connection and more. The handheld is expected to start shipping in January 2026.
