The OPPO Find X9 series has seen its fair share of leaks ahead of its global launch. But now it’s the turn of a variant, the Fins X9s, to get its details leaked. The variant has always been the smaller devices compared to the main devices. But that’s seemingly not stopping it from retaining the large batteries of its siblings this time around.
This claim comes from a post by serial leakster Digitat Chat Station, on Chinese social media Weibo. The post is machine translated, so it should be taken with a pinch of salt. That being said, it cites a “green factory official” as saying “no 7,000, no flagship”. The colour bit is presumably referring to OPPO and its branding colour.

While the battery capacity is a given for the X9 series based on recent leaks, the quote implies that the same will apply to the X9s and X9 Ultra. No real surprise for the latter, as it’s expected to be a larger device anyway. But it would be pretty impressive for the former, assuming it retains the 6.3-inch form factor of the current X8s model.
On that note, the current OPPO Find X8 Ultra and X8s were released back in April of this year. With that in mind, it may be awhile before the X9s gets officially released. And by extension, it will be quite the wait before the company confirms or denies the battery claim.
