You’ve seen plenty of phones featuring one imaging brand or another tacked on, indicating their co-operating with said brand. But an upcoming phone will be putting a twist to the trend, by stamping a brand that’s not known for camera tech. Instead, it’s known for personal audio gear. The phone in question is the Redmi K90 Pro Max, with Bose tacked onto its back.
This comes via the official Redmi account on Chinese social media Weibo. Incidentally, the account also revealed a 23 October launch for its home market at 7PM. The account showcased a range of images of the phone coming in two colours. One being a pinkish gold, and the other being denim blue.
But most importantly, in shots where the back in visible, so is the “Sound by Bose” being stamped onto what looks like a speaker grille. Oddly enough, this sits right next to the cameras on the bump. Said bump also looks to be silver regardless of the colour on the rest of the phone.
Despite the way it looks, GSMArena reports the Redmi K90 Pro Max has a triple camera combo at the back. One of them will be a periscope telephoto unit, but no further specifics on imaging were shared. In fact, specifics in general are pretty sparse, with the only other spec sheet item speculated as being a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
