It has been a busy week for Chinese smartphone makers, with both vivo and HONOR releasing their new flagship devices recently. And now, OPPO has unveiled the Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro in its home market. The two phones make up the Find X9 lineup, which will also be debuting globally later this month.
As previously revealed, both phones come equipped with MediaTek’s latest flagship silicon, the Dimensity 9500. Beyond that, they run on Android 16 via ColorOS 16. Aside from the in-house AI features and deep Google Gemini integration, the software supports pairing with an Apple Watch.
Going back to the phones themselves, they feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, replacing the optical reader from the previous generation. Furthermore, the devices come with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
As for the other specifications, the base model sports a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. Internally, it gets up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Additionally, the phone is powered by a 7,025mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, as well as 10W reverse charging.

On the imaging side, the Find X9 sports a triple camera setup. This system includes a 50MP 1/1.4-inch LYT-808 main sensor with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS. This is accompanied by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with a 73mm equivalent f/2.6 lens with OIS. Finally, the wide-angle shooter is a 50MP unit.
Moving on to the Pro model, it gets the same AMOLED display, but measuring 6.78 inches instead. Like its vanilla counterpart, it features up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. However, it packs an even bigger 7,500mAh battery. This battery supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, plus 10W reverse charging.
The Find X9 Pro’s imaging system includes a 50MP 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT-828 sensor, as well as a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Of course, the highlight is the 200MP Hasselblad camera, which uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor with a 70mm f/2.1 aperture. The entire setup can capture Motion Photos.
Currently, the OPPO Find X9 series is available for pre-order in China. Pricing for the regular version starts at CNY4,400 (~RM2,610) for the 12GB+256GB model. Meanwhile, the Pro variant has a starting price of CNY5,300 (~RM3,143) for the 12GB+256GB configuration.

Of course, these prices are for the Chinese market. The brand will be launching the phones internationally on 28 October 2025. The event will take place in Barcelona, Spain, at 4PM Central European Time, or 11PM for us. Ahead of the global launch, the brand has opened pre-orders for the devices. Those pre-ordering the phones can get a free Travel Companion Kit worth up to RM958.
