NVIDIA has officially started shipping out the DGX Spark, the world’s smallest supercomputer. The machine is the direct successor to the DGX-1, which launched back in 2016.

The DGX Spark first made its debut during Computex 2025, and we saw it again at Acer’s showroom during IFA 2025. As for pricing, NVIDIA is now selling the machine at US$3,999 (~RM16,924), approximately US$1,000 (~RM4,230) more than its original projection.

“As a new class of computer, DGX Spark delivers a petaflop of AI performance and 128GB of unified memory in a compact desktop form factor, giving developers the power to run inference on AI models with up to 200 billion parameters and fine-tune models of up to 70 billion parameters locally. In addition, DGX Spark lets developers create AI agents and run advanced software stacks locally.”

Specs-wise, the DGX Spark is based on the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GB10 Superchip, features 128GB of Unified System memory, has 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance, and requires just 240W to run. Versus the 3,200W power requirement of its predecessor. Additionally, it also feature’s NVIDIA’s ConnectX-7 200GB/s networking and NVLink-C2C technology.

One of the first recipients of the DGX Spark was none other than Elon Musk, who received the very first unit at SpaceX’s base in Texas. “Imagine delivering the smallest supercomputer next to the biggest rocket,” Jensen Huang, NVIDIA CEO, said when he personally delivered his product to Musk himself.

Starting 15 October, The DGX Spark can be ordered via the official NVIDIA Marketplace, although it appears to already be sold out. Partner systems will be available from Acer, ASUS, Dell Technologies, GIGABYTE, HP, Lenovo, MSI as well as Micro Centre stores in the U.S., and from NVIDIA channel partners worldwide.
