HP has introduced its newest ultrawide monitor, the Series 5 Pro 49-Inch Conferencing Monitor. Designed for productivity and office use, the curved monitor is the largest display in the series thus far.
If the name doesn’t already make it obvious, the monitor sports a 49-inch screen. It uses a VA panel with a 5,120 x 1,440 resolution and a 32:9 aspect ratio. Aside from that, it has a 165Hz refresh rate, as well as a subtle 1,800R curvature. Functionally, it is comparable to two 27-inch displays side by side.
One of the monitor’s highlights is the hidden 5MP webcam. This webcam extends from the top of the display with a push. It also comes with Windows Hello support. For ports, the monitor sports HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, ethernet, as well as a few USB-C and USB-A ports with KBM functionality. Other features include AI noise reduction, and Virtual Multiple Display. The latter creates up to three virtual displays, emulating the multi-monitor experience.

The HP Series 5 Pro 49-Inch Conferencing Monitor will be available through the company’s website in November, although no specific date has been given yet. In the same vein, the brand did not disclose any pricing details yet. According to a report by PCWorld, HP is targeting US$1,300 (~RM5,480). Local availability is also uncertain at this point.
