Prasarana subsidiary PRIDE has announced that it is partnering with SPX Express to introduce self-automated parcel collection lockers at select RapidKL LRT stations. These lockers will allow online shoppers to pick up their purchases during their daily commutes.
To start off, the lockers will be installed at five stations. These include Lembah Subang, Taman Melati, Bangsar, and Ampang Park on the Kelana Jaya Line, as well as Sentul Timur on the Ampang Line. According to PRIDE, the stations were chosen for this pilot phase due to their strategic locations. These stations feature strong connectivity and steady passenger flow as they serve as key transit points for commuters.

The lockers are fully automated and feature 284 compartments of varying dimensions, allowing them to accommodate a wide range of parcel sizes. This includes compact packages like personal care items and larger products like appliances. Moreover, users can access these lockers during station operating hours. For security, the lockers are equipped with 24/7 CCTV monitoring.
For now, PRIDE and SPX will use this pilot phase to observe user behaviour and gather feedback, as well as improve the service to better suit the needs of commuters. PRIDE plans on expanding this self-collection service across the Klang Valley network in the future.
