Did you know that Pokemon has an official Malaysian website? Whether you did otherwise, there’s additional news to be tacked onto it, which is that it’s getting relaunched. According to a post on the Pokemon Malaysia Facebook page, this is happening on 25 September.
For those unfamiliar with the official Pokemon Malaysia website, it’s naturally where you go to find info on events or campaigns that are exclusive to either our country, or the region. Though those are definitely not the majority; slightly more than half of the articles here are what you can find on the US site, for instance.
Perhaps somewhat uniquely, the headers of each section is written in Bahasa Malaysia. But click on each item and you’ll still be reading an English article, even the ones for local happenings.
With that in mind, unifying this may be what the revamp is for. But of course, that’s just speculation on our part. After all, the Facebook post in question did not provide a reason for it. But we’ll see the result of the revamp once it happens. To reiterate, the revamp is happening on 25 September, which falls on a Thursday.
