We’ve already seen what is claimed to be the renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge. It purportedly has a jarringly large camera bump, but it may not be the only one. Serial leakster @UniverseIce claims that the Ultra model may also be getting a camera bump upsizing.
The leakster shared on X what is essentially one image illustrating the point, with another zoomed in version of the same image. Within the post itself, they claim that the camera bump of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra measures 4.5mm thick. For context, the one on the S25 Ultra measures 2.4mm.
Despite this though, the leakster also claims that there may not be any improvements to the camera setup. The claim includes the use of a familiar 50MP 1/2.52-inch telephoto sensor. For what it’s worth, it’s also noted to be the smallest telephoto sensor of flagship phones.
All that being said, the shared image only shows a single dimension of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. So it’s unclear from this image if it will have the sort of bump that the Edge will seemingly get. Probably not, since it doesn’t need to displace its innards to achieve that sort of thinness.
