HONOR has confirmed that it is launching the newest addition to its midrange X series in Malaysia, the HONOR X9d 5G. Previously teased as a “mystery phone” last month, it serves as the successor to the X9c, which was launched back in November last year.
For the time being, the company is keeping details on the device under wraps. That said, we can expect toughness to be one of the phone’s stronger points, given what we know about the existing members in this particular lineup.
Aside from that, the company claims that the X9d “raises the bar” in terms of durability and performance. The phone apparently sports a reinforced body and a next-generation ultra-tough display. In addition to this, the brand promises that the device is capable of seamless multitasking and packs a long-lasting battery. Again, the company stops short of mentioning any specifics here.
And while HONOR has announced that this newest midranger will be coming to our shores, it also did not mention exactly when. For now, the only hint the brand is willing to offer is that the smartphone will be arriving “very soon”. In the meantime, those interested in finding out more about the device can keep an eye on the official HONOR Malaysia website or Facebook page for updates.
