After a number of leaks, it’s finally time for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE floodgates to completely open. Though thanks to the aforementioned prior leaks, most of these aren’t much of a surprise. Emphasis on “most” though, as there are a handful of discrepancies that are worth pointing out.
Either way, starting from the top, the official launch confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The launch also confirms that this has a 120Hz refresh rate. Moving on to the chipset, this is where we see the first discrepancy, and it’s a pleasant surprise to some degree. This is because the phone packs an Exynos 2400 as opposed to the 2400e.
The launch also confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE comes in 256GB and 512GB storage options. Ditto the 4,900 mAh battery and the 45W charging, and the 50MP main + 12MP wide-angle + 8MP 3x zoom camera combo. Now, we also know that the phone will sport 8GB of RAM. And on the software side of things, it is getting Android 16 and One UI 8 out of the box. This includes all of the new AI features that they bring, including the Now Bar and Now Brief.
Colour options for the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE include Navy, Jetblack, Icyblue and White, just as the leaks pointed out. It is priced at RM3,099 and RM3,699, depending on if you get 256GB or 512GB of storage. Despite the launch today, availability only starts on 19 September, Which sort of lines up with a prior report from the phone’s home market. Also launched today are the Galaxy Tab S11 series and the Galaxy Buds3 FE.
