Last month saw one of the earliest leaks of the Pixelsnap accessories, which are the Google equivalent of Apple’s MagSafe. Then came the whole rumour mill roller coaster of the Pixel 10 series having magnets built in or not. With the Made by Google event, we’re leaving all of that behind. The company has confirmed both the presence of magnets and the accessory list, and some.
First, the stuff from the leaks that Google has confirmed are the Pixelsnap Charger, Charger with Stand, and Ring Stand. The internet search giant has even revealed their local pricing of RM219, RM339 and RM149 respectively. Then there are the Pixelsnap cases for the Pixel 10 and 10 Pro which cost RM239, as well as for the Pro Fold costing RM339. No mention of one for the Pro XL specifically, though it may very well share a price with the other non-foldable cases.
Last, and arguably also least, is the accessory that’s not part of the Pixelsnap series. This is the Pixel Flex Dual Port 67W USB-C Fast Charger, which has two ports. Google claims that it “intelligently prioritises charging Pixel phones to ensure it charges fastest, while still powering a second device simultaneously”. This will still set you back RM289.
All of that being said, the company has not revealed when they will be available for purchase just yet. Best case scenario is that they will be available alongside the Pixel 10 phones that don’t fold, that is on 28 August.
