If you are a DC fan or just a car geek, then you would have thought about owning a Batmobile. Well, Indian automaker Mahindra has made the dream possible by introducing a Batman Edition of its BE 6 electric SUV.
This unique car was made in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), and it is inspired by Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy. Its base, the Mahindra BE 6 eSUV, is a Pack Three variant, which means this car will feature a 79kWh battery and a motor that produces 285PS and 380Nm of torque. Additionally, it is revealed that the “Batmobile” is only limited to 300 units, making it a rare collector’s piece.
This particular version comes in a custom Satin Black finish, exclusive Batman decals on the front doors and a “BE 6 × The Dark Knight” rear badge that defines its limited-edition identity. The aggressive stance is enhanced by R20 alloy wheels. A Batmobile is not a Batmobile if it does not scream Batman, and therefore, to make sure that the public knows you are driving one, the Bat emblem is integrated into multiple exterior elements. It can be found on the hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumper, and across the windows and rear windshield.
Other than that, the SUV also features an Infinity Roof with the Bat emblem integrated into its design, as well as Night Trail carpet lamps that project the iconic logo. Finally, completing the look are the Alchemy Gold-painted suspension and brake callipers.
Inside, the cabin features an Alchemy Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard, complete with numbering. The instrument panel is covered with charcoal leather, complemented by a brushed gold halo around the driver’s cockpit, while suede and leather upholstery are accented with sepia-gold stitching and integrated Bat emblems. The gold accents are also present on the steering wheel, In-Touch Controller, and electronic parking brake, along with a custom key fob carrying the same finish.
The Dark Knight Trilogy insignia is also included inside, appearing on the seats, interior labelling, and Boost button. The emblem’s pinstripe design adds a sophisticated touch to the passenger dashboard panel. The infotainment system welcomes drivers with a special welcome animation, and the interior further embraces racing-inspired design with open straps featuring the Batman Edition insignia. Custom engine sounds inspired by Batman have been created especially for this version to round out the experience.
The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition will be open for bookings on 23 August 2025, while deliveries are expected to begin on 20 September 2025, in conjunction with International Batman Day. The price of such a piece is INR 2.779 million (~RM133,886).
