Unifi Mobile has launched UNI5G Postpaid with Netflix, marking the first local postpaid bundle to include a subscription with the streaming service. The plan provides unlimited 5G and 4G data, with Netflix access bundled in so users can stream content across their smart devices.
The Netflix option is available as an add-on to the existing UNI5G Postpaid 69 and Postpaid 99 plans. On top of unlimited 5G/4G data, Postpaid 69 includes unlimited calls, RM0.15 per SMS and up to 60GB of hotspot quota, while Postpaid 99 offers the same but with a higher 100GB hotspot cap. Both plans come with no contract lock-ins.
With Netflix included, the monthly fees go up to RM79 for Postpaid 69 and RM100 for Postpaid 99. The latter looks to be the better value, given that the price difference is only RM1.
The UNI5G Postpaid Netflix bundle comes with the streaming service’s Basic plan, which streams at 720p resolution and allows downloads or viewing on one device at a time. Unifi Mobile adds that subscribers can later upgrade to the Standard or Premium tiers if they wish.
