Not too long ago, Xiaomi started drip-feeding teasers for the Redmi 15 5G, revealing most of its specs too. Now, which is a lot sooner than expected, the company has launched the phone, and making it available immediately. And with it is the rest of its spec sheet, as well as its price, but we’ll get to that in a bit.
Starting off, we have the 6.9-inch Full HD+ display with a 144hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi has revealed that this also comes with a 288Hz touch sampling rate. On the inside of the Redmi 15 5G is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 and the 7,000 mAh battery. Now, we also know that it supports 33W charging and 18W reverse charging.

Despite the way it looks, the Redmi 15 5G only sports two cameras at the back – the main 50MP unit and an unspecified auxiliary lens. In front, it sports an 8MP secondary shooter instead. Other features include the IP64 rating, support for expandable storage of up to 2TB, a side mounted fingerprint sensor, and the brand’s own HyperOS 2.
While the company mentions the existence of a 4GB + 128GB configuration, Xiaomi is only putting the Redmi 15 5G in 8GB + 256GB up on shelves. This costs RM729, and comes in Ripple Green, Titan Grey and Midnight Black. The company says that it is available now, though at the time of writing it hasn’t yet been listed on its official site.
