KHIND has announced that it is expanding its Rent-To-Own (RTO) appliance lineup to include three new products: the KHIND ChillMasterX Multi-Door Fridge, KHIND Washer Dryer WD1468, and KHIND SteamGen+ Steam Generator Iron. The introduction of these new appliances is intended to address the key household needs such as laundry, garment care, as well as food storage.
The company’s RTO model is designed to help Malaysian families own premium appliances without needing to make big lump-sum purchases. The offered plans only require an upfront payment of RM1, and include full insurance coverage for the full rental duration, offering protection from fire, lightning, flood, theft, as well as accidental damage.
The cheapest of these plans is for the SteamGen+ Steam Generator Iron, which starts from RM70 a month. Some of the key features of the iron include an 8-bar pressure boiler, and a ceramic anti-burn soleplate. Those subscribing to the plan are entitled to a free XXL ironing board worth RM200.
Next, we have the ChillMasterX Multi-Door Fridge with a starting rate of RM95 a month. The fridge features AG+ silver ion technology for sterilising air and killing bacteria, preventing food from spoiling early. Furthermore, it sports a dual inverter compressor and a no-frost design. As a bonus, the first 500 subscribers will receive free insurance.
Finally, the Washer Dryer WD1468 features an 11kg wash and 7kg dry capacity, steam and hot wash cycle, and a digital touch panel. The RTO plan starts from RM99 per month for the first six months, after which it will cost RM125 per month. The plan also includes doorstep delivery and installation, three years’ worth of laundry capsules, and comprehensive product insurance including the company’s KHIND Care Plan, which is a servicing program worth RM400 per session.
