We recently reported on the BMW iX3, the first model built on the company’s ‘Neue Klasse’ platform. Now, information that is claimed to be of the car has appeared online, offering a picture of its performance, technology, and extensive customisation options that can be expected.
Starting with the model range, it will include the iX3 40, 40 xDrive, 50 xDrive, and a high-performance M60 xDrive. Two additional models, including the M60, are set to join the line-up in July 2026. Additionally, the 50 xDrive is said to be first model to be launched.

In terms of the exterior, the leak claims that customers will have a range of colours to choose from. The list include Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Space Silver, Polarised Grey, Brooklyn Grey, Ocean Wave Blue, Smokey Green, and Fire/Vegas Red. Other than this, there are no further details on the exterior.
As for the interior, as we reported, the BMW iX3 comes with the BMW Panoramic iDrive system, a 3D Head-up Display, and a central matrix-lit display. However, the leaked information reveals that the interior might feature seats with upholstery choices ranging from Veganza vegan leather to genuine ‘Merino’ leather. It will also include multifunction seats with a massage function and various M features such as M seats and an M steering wheel. There is also the 13-speaker 365W Harman Kardon sound system to enhance the cabin experience.

While BMW has yet to reveal the powertrain, the leaked details state that the 50 xDrive features a dual motor setup. The front motor produces 123 kW and 255 Nm of torque, while the rear motor produces 240 kW and 435 Nm of torque.
Together, it is expected to complete the century sprint in 4.9 seconds. Other details reveal that the M60 variant will differ from the regular model with M suspension and brakes, 21-inch wheels instead of the 20-inch on lower trims, and several optional features — such as upgraded seats and audio — offered as standard.

As for the battery, the 50 xDrive might come with a 113.4 kWh battery pack (108.4 kWh usable), operating on an 700V architecture. This high-voltage system allows for incredibly fast charging, with a maximum power of 400 kW, enabling a 10–80% charge in just 21 minutes.
To reiterate this list of specifications are sourced from leaked details. Thus, there is no confirmation that these will be featured in the BMW iX3 when it makes its debut.
