GXBank has started testing a new car insurance product with a select group of customers. According to the digital bank, this insurance, which is the result of its partnership with insurance provider Zurich Malaysia, is designed to be hassle-free and convenient.
One of the highlights of this new car insurance is the renewal process, which takes place directly within the GXBank app. The “Three Taps Renewal” process enables the user to get a quote in under one minute as their information is automatically populated in the app. In addition to this, the user can select any desired add-ons and pay with their GX Account without having to open any other websites.

Aside from the in-app renewal process, the insurance comes with a wide range of benefits, such as accident claims via WhatsApp for claims under RM3,000, which are processed within one hour. Other benefits include complimentary round-the-clock roadside assistance for flat tires, battery issues, and more, as well as coverage for windscreen repairs up to RM200.
The insurance is currently in its pilot stage, with access being rolled out to customers in phases. According to GXBank, up to 6,000 customers will be given access to the product during this testing period. This is to allow the company to gather feedback and improve the insurance before it is released to the wider public.
At the moment, there is no confirmed date for a public launch yet. For those who have access to the pilot, GXBank is offering up to RM68 discount for a limited time.
