MyEG Services Bhd (MyEG) today announced its name change to Zetrix AI Bhd effective 3 July 2025 – at 9am, if you want to be specific. This was made known via a Bursa filing, as well as through an announcement made on its official Facebook page.
According to the company, this change reflects its growing focus on blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics in positioning itself as a leader in these technology advancements across ASEAN. The new name, it added, also signifies its evolution beyond local ventures, with plans to establish a presence on a global scale.
It should be noted that Zetrix is also the name of its blockchain platform, which has been central to its recent digital transformation and international partnerships. It serves as the core infrastructure for the Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI), which the company launched in collaboration with MIMOS Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd back in April this year.
Meanwhile, MyEG confirmed via a filing with Bursa Malaysia that its stock short names would be changed from MYEG to ZETRIX on the same date. Its stock number, on the other hand, remains unchanged.
