The OPPO Reno14 series of smartphones were first unveiled in its home market of China last month, and it looks like thy are finally ready to a local debut. The company has announced that the series will be launching locally at the very start of next month, on 1 July.
Launching as part of the line up are the base model OPPO Reno14, a Pro model, and an F variant. Unfortunately, that’s about all that the company has revealed about the devices it is launching. So while we have an idea as to what to expect for the base and Pro models, the F variant will remain a virtual unknown until then.
Instead, the company says that pre-ordering the OPPO Reno14 or the Reno14 F will net you rebates of RM150, while the Pro model comes with a RM200 rebate instead. That being said, these extend to 12 July, which may be a hint as to when they will be available on shelves, real or virtual, despite the date of the launch.
In conjunction with the OPPO Reno14 series launch, the company also says that it is working with Warner Music Malaysia for the OOO Music Festival that’s happening on the same day, at the Heritage Valley. Described as a music festival-inspired event, the brand says that it’s to celebrate creativity, innovation and entertainment. Live performances by Noh Salleh, Masdo, Steady Gang, Priscilla Abby and IMan Troye are on the docket for the event, tickets for which can be purchased here.
