The tablet sports an 11‑inch IPS LCD display with 2560×1600 px resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 274 ppi pixel density, and up to 600 nits brightness. It also comes with Dolby Atmos-equipped quad speakers for immersive audio, and retains the handy 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra chipset, paired with Mali‑G57 MC2 GPU. For the Malaysian market, both the 5G and 4G variants come with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage, though note that the base Redmi Pad 2 with 4GB + 128GB memory option is only exclusively offered online.

Battery-wise, the tablet features a 9,000 mAh capacity, and supports 18 W fast charging via USB‑C. It runs the latest Android 15 via HyperOS 2, while connectivity options includes Wi‑Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. As for imaging, on the back of both Pad 2 variants is an 8MP primary camera, whereas in front is a 5MP selfie snapper.
The Redmi Pad 2 Series is available in Malaysia via Xiaomi’s physical stores and website, as well as its official online stores on Shopee and Lazada.
