Almost exactly a month ago, Nothing confirmed that it was working on a pair of over-ear headphones with British audio brand KEF. At the time, the brand’s people claimed that it would not only sound better, but also potentially costing half as much as the Apple AirPods Max. While the audio quality claim will remain just that until the product gets released, a recent price leak shows that the price potential was pretty close to being realised as well.
Dealabs reports that the Nothing Headphone (1) will be priced at US$309 (~RM1,313), GBP299 (~RM1,711) and EUR299 (~RM1,468) in their respective markets. In both European markets, it is said to be available in Black and White, while the latter colour is replaced with Grey in the US.

While not exactly half of the AirPods Max, which launched for RM2,399, these prices are still pretty competitive compared to the established competition. This includes the Sony WH-1000XM6, which has a RM2099 price tag at launch. At any rate, these prices are in line with the Nothing Phone (3), which the brand said would be a company flagship. Though some would probably argue that considering the chipset the phone is set to pack.
The report also mentions a 30 September release date in earlier leaks, but claims that it’s a placeholder date. Which it has to be, since Nothing has already confirmed that both the Headphone (1) and Phone (3) will be launching on 1 July.
