Having spotted the vivo X200 FE in SIRIM last month, it’s probably no surprise that the phone will be getting launched officially in Malaysia. Earlier today, the company has confirmed this, though stopped short of mentioning the exact date as to when it’s happening.
The teaser itself doesn’t really show much of the phone, as all that is on the post in the image which says “coming soon”. But shortly after the post, the company’s Malaysian arm uploaded an image of the vivo X200 FE, showing a pretty good look of the back of the device. And it looks quite different even at a glance, as where the other devices in the series has a circular camera bump, the FE has a pill-shaped one with two cameras. A third sits outside of the bump with what looks like the accompanying LED flash.

Prior leaks point to the vivo X200 FE as having a 6.31-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP main + 50MP 3x telephoto and an 8MP wide-angle combo at the back and a 50MP selfie shooter. Other spec sheet items include a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset.
Building up to the official launch that’s coming soon, the company has also announced three public preview sessions for the vivo X200 FE. The first is happening on 21 June at the brand’s Experience and Service Centre at Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru, followed by one on 27 June at the company’s Concept Store at the Setia City Mall in Setia Alam. A third is happening on 29 June at Gurney Plaza, George Town. In all instances, the preview events open at 3PM.

Considering these dates, the earliest the vivo X200 FE can launch is on 30 June, which is exactly two weeks away. Of course, it’s entirely possible for it to happen later.
