Nubia sub-brand Redmagic has officially launched its newest premium tablet, the Redmagic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro. Currently, the tablet is only available for the Chinese market, but the company has confirmed that it is releasing a global version in a few weeks. That said, at the moment it is uncertain whether the tablet will make it to our shores then.
The tablet features a 9.06-inch 2,400 x 1504px OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and full-screen brightness of 1,100 nits. It sports an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. The back is aluminium, with a glass panel revealing the tablet’s ICE-X Cooling system, which includes a fan equipped with RGB lighting.
Under the hood, the Tablet 3 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage. Powering the tablet is a 8,200mAh battery with support for 80W charging, and it is said that a single charge can offer up to 5.5 hours of gameplay. For software, it ships with Redmagic OS 10.5, based on Android 15. It also comes with a built-in PC emulator, allowing the tablet to run AAA games at full frame rates.
The base model, which comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at CNY4,000 (~RM2,350). There is also a 16GB + 512GB model for CNY4,700 (~RM2,761), and the 24GB + 1TB model is available for CNY6,000 (~RM3,525).

Along with the tablet, Redmagic has released a few gaming accessories. The RedMagic Shadow Blade Gamepad 3 features Hall-effect joysticks, a linear motor and a 6-axis gyroscope, and costs CNY600 (~RM352). There is also the RedMagic IceBlade Magnetic Keyboard, which is priced at CNY1,000 (~RM587).
The global counterpart of the tablet, the Redmagic Astra, is set to be launched on 1 July. However, it is unclear whether Malaysia will be included, given the fact that the Malaysian Redmagic website makes no mention of it.
