Building up to the launch of the Nothing Phone (3), the company has posted a number of teasers, including announcing that it would not have the Glyph Interface. A new leak which is claimed to be a render of the phone has appeared online, and it looks as uncanny as you probably imagine it to be.
Said leak comes courtesy of @MaxJmb on X, with the post showing a rather bland device despite having all of the other detailing present on the brand’s prior devices. To put it in another way, it still looks as if it’s hinting at what it could look like on the inside. But without the Glyph Interface, the supposed Nothing Phone (3) looks a tad uncanny.
Just as with any leaks, this should be taken with a pinch of salt. It is, in fact, especially true this time around as Nothing has already teased the replacement for the Glyph Interface that’s going to be on the Phone (3) – a dot-matrix display of some kind. But that’s nowhere to be found on the supposed leaked render.
Perhaps one can argue that the dot-matrix interface is not visible when it’s not powered on. Which may well be the case, but until it’s seen in action on such leaks, there’s plenty of reason to doubt the veracity of this leak. But either way, we’ll find out on 1 July, when the company is scheduled to reveal the Nothing Phone (3).
