Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia has officially renamed its Rize mobile banking app to “MY alrajhi”. According to the bank’s official website, this change is part of a broader effort to merge both its alrajhi@24seven and Rize platforms into a unified mobile experience – offering customers a seamless, user-friendly and secure experience so you can manage your money with ease.

Existing Rize users can continue using the app with their current login credentials. The bank notes that their Rize Savings Account‑i has been renamed to DuitPlus Savings Account‑i, now with updated account numbers—all of which are viewable within the app. Importantly, all benefits and features of the account remain unchanged.

For users of alrajhi@24seven, a streamlined registration process is available. After a brief identity verification step, they’ll be prompted to set up new MY alrajhi login details, followed by a 12-hour cooling-off period for first-time access. New customers can also sign up by opening a DuitPlus Savings Account‑i within the app and will undergo the same cooling-off period before accessing all features.

For the uninitiated, Al Rajhi Bank first introduced Rize in 2022 as a fully digital, app-only Islamic banking platform designed to complement—not replace—alrajhi@24seven. It offered a simple onboarding process requiring minimal documentation, allowing Malaysians aged 18 and above with a local bank account to open a savings account with as little as RM20. Account sign-ups reportedly took about five minutes, while Personal Financing‑i decisions were processed within 15 minutes.

Beyond standard banking functions such as deposits, withdrawals, DuitNow transfers, and e-statements, Rize brought in several forward-thinking features. Chief among them was Savings Pot, which allowed users to create multiple sub‑accounts with profit-earning potential and invite others to contribute. The app also included AI-driven spending insights, 24/7 in-app customer support, and laid the groundwork for future services such as integrated marketplaces and tailored offers.

Like its predecessor, the new MY alrajhi app is available via the Apple App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery. Users are encouraged to download the latest update to access the revised features and ensure uninterrupted service.
